I don't even know why the hell I painted a better background here. Probably libido overload? Yeah, I believe in Freud. There was a period in my life when I had enough sex - do you think I wanted to draw or write anything then? Its the unsatisfied desires, be they emotional or sexual or both sorts twisted up in an intricate psychological knot, that give us the reason and the energy to create alternative realities where all these urges can be satisfied.
Note that for Splendor it's more about emotion rather than physiology. Usually he doesn't have many reasons to get aroused: there's mostly kids around him, and kids don't have this kind of emotions to share. For this reason he is mostly asexual. What turned him on was the passion emanating from the girl, the sort of energy he's never tasted before. Splendor feeds on energy and gets affected by it, and he has only a vague idea of what 'shame' or 'sin' means: he doesn't hear adults' hypocritical gossip, neither he goes to church or ever seen a Bible. For him human shame tastes mostly like fear, and what he knows about fear that it's bad, a thing that needs to be forced out of humans' mind. He makes the girl feel secure, and thus she gives in to her desires. She loved him more than anything when she was a child, but now that she has adult urges, the feelings mix together into a powerful concoction that brings Splendor in a state close to intoxicaton. And don't forget that he's telepathic: his ability to share feelings and project them into the partner's mind can bring sex to a whole new level. That's the most important reason to actually write the fanfic, not the smut part of it. I've never read anything where telepathy was used by Slenderfolk (namely Offender) for any other thing than getting into someone's pants, but maybe Smexy isn't powerful enough to share his feelings with a sex partner, or maybe he's just too egoistic. On the contrary, Splendor is all about sharing, and while he isn't so skilled in sex, he can make up for it with the help of psychic powers. After all, brain has certain pleasure centers, and if Splendy gets enough sex experience to figure out how to operate them, he could give people orgasms without even touching them. He already succeeded at suppressing the 'sexy parts' of the brain when he fiddled with Offender's dirty mind, making it less about rape and more about roses. Sad thing is, Splendy will never get much sex: while the girl is happy to make love to him, the experience brings her illness. What a bittersweet love story! They might meet a couple more times before Splendy has to vanish from her life, for her own good. Or maybe their rendezvous would be very rare. She might develop immunity to the radiation over time, or get cancer and die. Or become a mutant like the Rake (there's a theory he became like this because of Slender's radiation). The happiest sort of end would occur if her near-death experience leads to her transformation into Slenderfolk 
And it's not very likely that another passionate maiden throws herself into Splendor's arms. It would never be the same. He is rather passive when it comes to relationship, and somewhat meek. What hurts him most is people's anger and rejection. Unless, at some point, he needs to protect them, or himself. Splendor is a living illustration of selflessness, so sensitive and naive and somewhat insane. Believe it or not, but writing this almost brings tears to my eyes.
And it's not very likely that another passionate maiden throws herself into Splendor's arms. It would never be the same. He is rather passive when it comes to relationship, and somewhat meek.
